Railroad Ties

Pacific Western Lumber Company is a supplier of new and relay wood ties. We supply Creosote pressure treated ties that conform to AREMA specifications. New ties are available in 8′, 8’6”, and 9’ dimensions, and in lengths ranging from 8′ x 17′ for use in tangent track or turnouts. Switch Ties are available in 10’ lengths through 26’. New wood ties are available in both hardwood and softwood species.

Pacific Western Lumber Company can offer relay ties that are graded for soundness of wood, reasonable Creosote retention, lack of splits or crushing in the plate area and no excessively worn holes caused from spikes or screws.
